A beautiful model of the Milwaukee H-16-44 Fairbanks Morris train.
This HO scale model is an Atlas Generic, Stock H-16-44 that has been meticulously custom built to match the Milwaukee Road prototype of #404. Numerous parts were scratch built to add to the precision accuracy of this model. The weathering may be more aged than the prototype but that just adds a lot more interest to the model. Tom kept the marker lights operational but had to modify them substantially to make them more realistic. Both front and rear headlights were also reworked to match this Milwaukee Road unit. The model has a dual mode decoder installed and it runs smooth and quiet.

ONTARIO NORTHLAND RAILWAY GP-9 #1600 HO Model
The ONTARIO NORTHLAND RAILWAY GP-9 #1600 HO Model has been carefully and meticulously built per actual prototype photograph. Tom’s build time on this project was approximately 1 year. The weathering on this model was done in such a way as to reflect its heavy usage. To my knowledge, there are only 2 locomotives that were ever built like this and they were built by the Ontario Northland Railway. Both #1600 and #1604 are still in use daily. I feel this model is a good representation of the prototype photo shown below.

Milwaukee "Hiawatha" A Class 4-4-2. originally an as-built Overland Brass Model train
The Milwaukee “Hiawatha” A Class 4-4-2 was originally an as-built Overland Brass Model train. Tom made numerous changes to reflect a finished appearance dating approximately 1954-1955. The paint scheme chosen accurately reflects a post-era application and extensive weathering as they were at this time. A SoundTraxx Tsunami sound system was installed. Custom decals were correctly made for this model. I believe the end result turned out quite well considering the intricate obstacles encountered. AND YES, THEY REALLY DID GET THIS DIRTY!!

OVERLAND BRASS (BLT 1989) CANADIAN NATIONAL RWY SD50F #5452 brass model
OVERLAND BRASS (BLT 1989) CANADIAN NATIONAL RWY SD50F #5452 This brass model has SoundTraxx Tsunami installed with custom built speaker baffle filling entire rear of long hood end. Sound emanates from both radiator intake grills and the two rear radiator exhaust fan grills. Our custom HO scale model was produced with static only ditch lights. Tom made them operable to go with the rest of the lighting and it turned out just BEAUTIFUL! All of this attention to detail greatly adds to the realistic visualization with the professionally applied weathering, the sounds, and the total appearance of the model. This FM H10-44 #HD-11 has been custom built per prototype – Up until now this model has never been made but this Overland Brass FM H10-44 was modeled and highly detailed and modified after the prototype, HD-11. The build time for this particular model train was approximately 12 months. Built by Tom Cox

The Canadian National GP38-2W #4772 prototype was originally #4572. CN renumbered the GP38 wide-cabs to the 4700 series and this is exactly the way it looks now where the old number still shows through. They didn’t even bother to remove the old number!!! This prototype model was built upon request and critiqued for accuracy (it was approximately 98% accurate to the prototype). Canadian National Railway SW1200 #1334
This Canadian National Railway SW1200 #1334 was a One-Of-A-Kind model that Tom built back in the mid 1990’s when it was not available. Overland produced this model in the early to mid 2000’s. Build time on this model was approximately 15 months.
